Irma Gail's Original Wedding Gown

 

"My Daughter Eloped"

Irma Gail's daughter only gave a week's notice before she married--there was no time to make a wedding dress. When Fairfield invited Irma Gail to make a garment for their fashion show, she made the wedding dress she didn't get to make for her daughter. The Dress took 5 months to make and has 1000 yo-yos, 100 3-dimensional flowers, and 1000 beads. The wedding bouquet is attached to a muff, and the barrettes have 180 cascading yo-yos. Maybe one of Irma Gail's 5 granddaughters will wear it someday.
